Khao Takiab is one of Hua Hin's most loved beachfront districts, named after the small "chopstick hill" that rises at its southern end. It offers a relaxed, low-rise stretch of coastline with a strong mix of long-term expats, holiday-home owners, and local Thai residents — making it a favourite for buyers who want genuine beach access without the busier pace of central Hua Hin town.
The area is well served by seafood restaurants along the beach road, a growing number of condo developments with sea views, and easy access to both Hua Hin town centre and the airport.

Life in Khao Takiab
Beaches
Khao Takiab beach itself is quieter than central Hua Hin beach, with golden sand and calm water most of the year — popular for early morning walks and sunset dinners at the beachfront restaurants.
Things to Do
The hill at the southern end of the beach is home to a temple and a resident troop of macaques — locally nicknamed "Monkey Mountain" — with panoramic views over the bay from the summit. The Plearn Wan retro village and Vana Nava water park are both a short drive away.
